Supercharger kits are absolutely the most powerful and reliable supercharger systems available for your vehicle. For street use or at the track, supercharger systems will deliver the largest increase in horsepower and torque available from any supercharger system. The amount of horsepower created by these things is insane.

A supercharger is, for all intents and purposes, an air compressor designed to force large amounts of air through your engine. This mass volume of air, in conjunction with the appropriate amount of fuel, combines to create more power that could be accomplished through natural aspiration alone. It  increases the pressure or density of air supplied to an internal combustion engine. This gives each intake cycle of the engine more oxygen, letting it burn more fuel and do more work, thus increasing power.

Power for the supercharger can be provided mechanically, by the means of a belt, gear, shaft, or chain connected to the engine's crankshaft. Superchargers are made up for any type of engine. There are two main types of superchargers defined according to the method of gas transfer:

Positive Displacement - Positive displacement blowers and compressors deliver an almost constant level of pressure increase at all engine speeds (RPM).

Dynamic Compressors - Dynamic compressors do not deliver pressure at low speeds; above a threshold speed, pressure increases with engine speed.

When power is provided by a turbine powered by exhaust gas, a supercharger is known as a turbo supercharger, typically referred to simply as a turbocharger. Superchargers and turbochargers accomplish the same goal, which is to make your car go faster, the difference between the two is their power source. Turbochargers are powered by the exhaust gases where as Superchargers are powered by the engine's crankshaft with a belt-drive or chain-drive. This difference in power source is felt when driving the car.

We are expertise in forced induction which makes us the leader in design and development and offering the best kit for your Truck or Car. As we are located in Denver Colorado, we know the obstacles of trying to make big horse power at altitude. Colorado is a mile high above sea level so we loose pressure there, and the performance of vehicles becomes lower, so when you add a FIK you are adding back pressure in the motor to make that power back.

In short, a supercharger kit is nothing but a device which increases the compactness of air entering the engine to generate more power. It consists of gas compressor which is used for forced induction of an internal combustion engine. A supercharger is a form of forced induction that offers the most dramatic increase in horsepower to your car of any aftermarket products. By compressing the air, it lets the engine stuff more air into a cylinder. More air means that, more fuel can be stuffed in, too, so you get more power from each explosion in each cylinder. A supercharger's power supply comes from a belt that connects directly to the engine. It gets its power the same way that your water pump does.
